Theory of Change Project

Theory of Change initiates and cultivates local spaces where organizations can come together around a shared vision and values and a commitment to working and growing together long term. Our mandate is to win for working people at the local level and to move the needle in favor of lasting, structural change.

What is it?

An initiative of Florida For All, Theory of Change aims to cultivate an organized, progressive ecosystem in Florida that has the strength, commitment, and imagination to dream a new reality for our state and make it come true. The Theory of Change program is dedicated to facilitating the alignment of these spaces at the local level throughout the state by deepening relationships, resourcing staff to build and manage the organizing infrastructure, and increasing strategic capacity through research, policy analysis and leadership development.

Who is This for?

We know from theory and practice that no person, or organization, can accomplish the task of meaningful change alone. We must organize ourselves into a bigger WE, a united front that reflects the diversity of our communities and our struggles and allows us the space to deepen ties, organize, and strategize together.

This project is for anyone who believes in making meaningful, local change to improve the lives of everyone in the community no matter what we look like, where we come from, or who we are.

How to get involved

We have active tables in Miami-Dade, Orange, Osceola, Pinellas, Duval, Palm Beach, and Alachua counties. The next priority counties are Broward and Hillsborough. Our goal is to grow the program to cover most counties in the state of Florida given the importance of understanding each region and building progressive power at the local level.
